报告题目：Solar fuels production by quantum sized semiconductor photo catalysis Sun Songmei associate professor Kyushu University
报告内容摘要：Photocatalytic reduction of CO2 received more and more attention in recent years due to the continuous CO2 emiting. the formation of solar fuel through reduction of carbon dioxide involves multiple electrons transfer, which make it more difficult to recycle gaseous carbon dioxide. This lecture mainly introduce the background about photocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide and the main research on how to improve the photocatalytic activity through electron accumulation. Two main approach can be used to promote this process. The WO3 was sampled to manifest how to raise the photocatalytic activity through the first method.
个人简历：Prof. Songmei Sun has been working as an associate professor in International Institute for Carbon-Neutral Energy Research (I²CNER) in Kyushu University since 2016. She obtained her PhD degree in Materials Chemistry & Physics from Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010. After that, she worked at Shanghai Institute of Ceramics as an assistant and associate research fellow during 2010~2016. She obtained a Marie-Curie Individual Fellowship in 2017. Her current research interest is mainly focused on the rational synthesis and mechanism exploration of atomic scale semiconductor photocatalyst for solar fuels production. Up to now, she has published for more than 70 peer-reviewed research articles in J. Am. Chem. Soc., ACS Catalysis, J. Mater. Chem. A, Applied Catalysis B, Environ. Sci. Technol. etc. These articles have been cited for more than 4200 times worldwide and resulting in a Hirsch-factor of 39.
